The workshop will be led by Jeff Usher, founder o f Be There Dad, who has helped form Dads groups at 17 Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Schools.
Dads from various schools have been invited to this workshop, including:

Based on the book, Be There Dad, humorous anecdotes coupled with the lessons learned from them provide a relaxed atmosphere for Dads to address the soul–searching questions about the relationships with their children. Dads will explore questions such as:
Why do you want to become a Be There Dad?
What did your Dad teach you? How do you define winning?
We had a good planning meeting at T-Mac’s. Great Turnout and lots of good MIB conversation.
We had a great Open House to start off the year. Lot’s of MIB, PTA sign up’s as well as Spirit wear sold.
We had a great turnout for the 2014 Beautification Day, this past August. We had Moms, Dads, Kids, Teachers and Staff. It was great event and school started the year looking great!!!
We’ve had our 2nd Blythe Men’s group meeting last night.
In an effort to get more of a male presence on campus and around campus at Blythe, we agreed upon our first event. Here are the details:
When: Tuesday, Oct. 22nd
Time: 7:30-8:00am (try to arrive by 7:15am, if possible)
What: Greeting childen and opening car doors in the morning drop off line.
